Hoboken is giving food lovers two weeks to explore its dining scene with the launch of the first-ever Hoboken Restaurant Week, November 9–22, 2026.

From neighborhood favorites to recently opened restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and bars, participating establishments will offer prix fixe menus, exclusive specials, limited-edition items, and other promotions throughout the city.

Organized by the Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA), the inaugural event celebrates the Mile Square City’s diverse culinary scene while encouraging residents and visitors to discover new places to eat and revisit longtime favorites.

With more than a quarter of Hoboken’s retail space occupied by food and beverage businesses, restaurants play a major role in the city’s character and economy. Hoboken Restaurant Week aims to spotlight these businesses, giving local chefs and restaurateurs a chance to introduce new customers to their signature dishes and culinary offerings.

Celebrating Hoboken’s Restaurant Community

“Hoboken’s restaurants are at the heart of what makes our city such an incredible place to live, work, and visit,” said James Runkle, President of the Hoboken Business Alliance Board of Trustees.

“Over a quarter of the city’s retail space is home to food and beverage establishments, and Hoboken Restaurant Week is an opportunity to spotlight the incredible variety and quality of our local dining scene while supporting the small businesses that help define Hoboken’s identity. The HBA is proud to bring the restaurant community together for this new initiative that encourages folks to discover something new while supporting local businesses.”

The two-week celebration is part of the HBA’s broader efforts to strengthen Hoboken’s local economy through initiatives that increase visibility, attract customers, and encourage community engagement. Bringing restaurants together under one citywide promotion also reinforces Hoboken’s reputation as one of New Jersey’s premier dining destinations.

For participating businesses, Restaurant Week offers a chance to showcase what makes their menus special while connecting with new and returning customers.

“As a Hoboken business owner and a trustee of the Hoboken Business Alliance, I know how important it is to create opportunities that bring people through our doors and encourage them to experience everything our local food scene has to offer,” said Luca Infantino, owner of Alessio’s Cafe and HBA trustee.

“Hoboken Restaurant Week gives businesses across the city a chance to showcase what they do best, while giving residents and visitors another reason to explore, try somewhere new, and support local.”
