Millburn will be the centerpiece of a food tour arriving Sunday, November 15. This guided, 3-hour walking tour will take guests behind the counter at some of Millburn’s most exciting eateries, where chefs will offer exclusive tastings and an insider’s perspective on the town’s lauded culinary scene. Guests will enjoy a variety of delicious tastings and curated dishes while learning local history spanning generations.
“Taste of Millburn” is a VIP exploration of international flavors from all over the world. Chow Town Food Tours will host this special event, made possible by Explore Millburn-Short Hills. This is their first collaborative tour highlighting the exciting, fascinating flavors that make up the restaurant scene in this foodie destination, from Indian baked goods to Greek cuisine and everything in between.
A limited number of discounted tickets are available using a promo code offered by Explore Millburn-Short Hills, the town’s business improvement district and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the economic, cultural, and social vitality of the community.
The “Taste of Millburn” food tour is hosted by local author and NJ native Max Gray, who launched Chow Town Food Tours in 2024 to show off the surprising and delicious secrets of the Jersey suburbs. His popular food tours of Montclair, Morristown, and surrounding towns have appeared in NJ Monthly magazine and been highlighted by the Essex News Daily, SOMA Living, and Montclair Girl.
“Millburn’s dining scene reflects an incredible range of culinary traditions,” says Gray. “This tour will allow folks to travel around the world by taking an easy stroll across town. It’s full of secrets that even locals don’t know about.”
