FOREST LODGE HOSTS ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST ON 40 ACRES OF OPEN SPACE

NJ’s BEST Annual Oktoberfest at Forest Lodge is quickly approaching, and everyone is invited. The celebration is planned for the second Saturday in October (rain date on Sunday, October 9th).

Oktoberfest will run from 11am-5pm. The food and beverage pavilion opens at noon, featuring a hearty menu of German-American foods. The Amazing Polka Panic will perform for dancing event goers as they drink and eat around Forest Lodge’s beautiful outdoor event venue.

“We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be holding our Annual Oktoberfest on October 8th this year. Now more than ever we’re excited to bring people back together in our 40-acre, outdoor, open-air environment. I think this is something the community has been missing,” said Charlie Alberto IV, General Manager of Forest Lodge.

“So come and feast on all these delicious foods. Leave room for the scrumptious German cakes and strudels. And don’t forget the cold, German beer to wet your whistle!”

Other food favorites include goulash over spaetzle, Bratwurst, Perogies, and German potato salad. American BBQ fare will also be available alongside signature German desserts and assorted beverages.

Oktoberfest is great fun for the children as well. Kids will keep busy with amusement rides, carnival booths, inflatables, and other activities.

The admission for adults is $10.00 per person. New to this year: Tickets can be purchased online via simpletix.com. Admission includes live music and dancing in the Apple Grove Pavilion, as well as access to all recreational activities. Otherwise, the event’s staff will be selling tickets inside the event for alcoholic beverages, food, desserts, and entertainment (like rides, carnival booths, etc.). Kids under 10 years can come for free. Plus, the parking is free.
