Oyster Fest October 13 – 18th
If you’re looking for a perfect fall foodie getaway, here’s your excuse to hit the road. Just a short drive over the Mario Cuomo Bridge lands you in Tarrytown, New York—home to The Sailhouse, a breezy waterfront restaurant that’s about to throw one of the most fun (and delicious) parties on the Hudson.
From October 13–18, 2025, The Sailhouse will host its first annual Oyster Fest—a six-day celebration of oysters, live music, sparkling wine, cocktails, and good times.
It’s a week-long celebration kicking off on Columbus Day and wrapping up with a Rock the Dock Bash on Saturday, October 18th.
Enjoy fresh oysters, chicken/sausage gumbo, smash burgers, crispy catfish nuggets, live music every night, festive drink specials, and even a special meet & greet with Sleepy Hollow’s own Headless Horseman!
Think Mardi Gras meets the Sailhouse meets Halloween festival vibes — all with those unbeatable Hudson River views.
Six Days of Oysters, Music & More
Every night at 7 p.m., the crowd will gather for the Slurp Off, an oyster-eating competition where contestants vie for glory and some seriously fun prizes. Winners advance each night to the grand finale on Saturday. Every participant scores a free dozen oysters, an Oysterfest T-shirt, Tabasco sauces, and more sponsor swag.
Throughout the week, expect live music, themed dinners, tastings, and plenty of chances to raise a glass—or a shell.
