Dallas BBQ, Secaucus

The highly anticipated Dallas BBQ is finally coming to Secaucus, though the exact opening date is still TBD. But you’ll understand the excitement if you’re a BBQ lover and enjoy over-the-top frozen drinks. One of my personal favorites is the cornbread — simple but delicious. Be sure to follow them on social media to stay updated on the opening date!

Kura Sushi, Paramus

If you’re looking for an interactive dining experience, let me tell you, this is the place. Kura Sushi, located in the Garden State Mall, features a revolving belt that runs throughout the entire restaurant, delivering everything from sushi and ramen to dessert. A fun and noteworthy feature is that after every 15 plates (don’t worry, they’re small), you get a little prize. Oh, and robots serve you along with human staff. Cool place!

Standout dishes include Pollo Con Mole (Chicken with Mole), Camarones de Zarandeado (Grilled Shrimp), a variety of tacos, and more. Palmetto, Asbury Park

Craving Southern cuisine? Check out Palmetto in Asbury Park. Though the restaurant is newly opened, Executive Chef James Avery is far from a newcomer to the industry. Known as a regular on Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay, Chef Avery has been making a lasting mark on the Jersey Shore dining scene for many years. At Palmetto, he continues to showcase his culinary expertise, offering an enticing menu featuring elevated dishes like Lobster Gumbo and Sweet Corn Cacio e Pepe Manfredini, as seen on their Instagram page.
