Tisha Agarwal is an author, TV host and an entrepreneur. She has a background specializing in vegan and ayurvedic cuisine and has learned from and worked with chef Vincent in Lambertville briefly and then with chef Ross Olchavary of Sprig & Vine. She also completed the natural foods chef training program at NKCS in NYC in 2010 that helped supplement her knowledge in whole foods cooking.
She created the Rhymes and Greens series (http://goo.gl/Dsm5Vy) of children’s books with the mission to help inculcate healthier eating habits in children via stories and games around meals. She has worked with many parents in helping change their children’s behavior and embrace healthy food habits in children.
She worked with Princeton TV to produce a vegan cooking show and worked with the TV staff and West Windsor Farmers market to promote local farms & vendors.
Her journey began about a decade ago when she was challenged with her own health while in graduate school and then working and traveling extensively as a management consultant. What began as a personal mission extended into a passion for helping the community via creative food experiences.
When she is not playing with her toddler or working out of her Philadelphia office, she is creating meals-on-the-go bars that are complete nutritious meals packed into a bar for the working professional! She lives in central New Jersey with her family.
