River Lady Cruises – Toms River
The River Lady isn’t *technically* a restaurant, but it makes for a romantic evening out. The River Lady is an authentic reproduction of a paddle-wheel riverboat, and you can ride it along Barnegat Bay during one of their sunset dinners on Tuesdays or Thursdays. The sunset dinner cruise sails for 2-2 1/2 hours and offers 6 entree choices and dessert, as well as gorgeous sunset views.

Shore Points BBQ – Point Pleasant Beach
If you’re in the mood for more than just traditional BBQ selections, stop by Shore Point’s BBQ in Point Pleasant Beach. Lucille’s Country Cooking – Barnegat

Meemom’s – Brick
Open daily from 7 am -3 pm, Meemom’s specializes in “serving shamelessly delicious spins on traditional breakfast and lunch items”. As the self-proclaimed deans of “French Toast University”, their french toast options are unique and delicious including bananas foster, churro, apple pie, lemon berry bliss, campfire, and more. They also offer pancakes and waffles, breakfast bowls, paninis, salads, and plenty of drink options from their coffee bar.
Old Causeway – Manahawkin
Located in Manahawkin, Old Causeway serves brunch on Sundays 10 am – 1 pm Get a made-to-order item from the brunch menu or enjoy special brunch cocktails like Hendrick’s breakfast martini, or his and hers mimosas.
Pop’s Corner – Point Pleasant Beach
Owned by Bruce Fischer, aka Pops, and his son-in-law Brian Neiman, Pop’s Corner is a family affair! This casual and family-friendly neighborhood eatery is located on Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant. Located by all of the shops and just a 10-minute walk to the beach, Pop’s Corner is the perfect spot to dine during your next Point Pleasant day trip. Pop’s features a modern American-style menu with favorites such as omelets, benedicts, french toast, breakfast sandwiches, and more, as well as lunch options such as burgers and sandwiches. Pop’s also has a connected market (“Pop’s Market”) where you can purchase coffee to go, grab-and-go food, locally-made culinary items, souvenirs, and more.
Shut up and Eat – Tom’s River
Self-described as a “Cheery daytime joint featuring creative spins on American diner classics”, Shut up and Eat is a unique breakfast and lunch spot that features waitstaff that serves you while wearing pajamas – yes, that’s right! If you wear your pajamas to the restaurant as well, they will reward you with a 13% discount, as long as it’s a matching set from top to bottom.
Taylor Sam’s – Brick
Offering breakfast and lunch daily, you can enjoy favorites at Taylor Sam’s like egg sandwiches, pancakes, and french toast, as well as burgers and tacos. Taylor Sams is open on Weekdays from 8:00 am-3:30 pm and on Weekends 7:30 am-3:30 am.
