Wayne Day

The annual Wayne Day celebration returns, showcasing local businesses, organizations, and, of course, great restaurants of Wayne at this fun, free event. Among participating restaurants is the soon-to-open Viaggio Ristorante, serving up an authentic taste of taste of Italy, with rich polpette over creamy polenta. Lance Appelbaum, the owner of Fossil Farms in Boonton Township, is donating all of the meat to be used by Viaggio and a portion of the proceeds will benefit a charity of his choosing. The fun continues with a children’s carnival, live music, and much more. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wayne Valley High School, 551 Valley Road, Wayne.
