Plates 4 Parks: The Reservoir Dinner in Jersey City

May 18, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$40
Each year, donations from community-minded businesses help further the mission of the Jersey City Parks Coalition to preserve and maintain the beautiful parks and open spaces throughout Jersey City.
Announcing the return of Plates 4 Parks (formerly the Six Ward Dinner Series), the Jersey City Parks Coalition’s signature fundraising event. For the duration of six months (one ward per month), we will celebrate Jersey City’s dynamic food scene and enjoy a delicious three-course dinner or brunch in one of our beautiful parks. Each meal will be created by a guest chef, and all proceeds will support the Jersey City Parks Coalition in our mission to empower residents to develop, renovate, use and maintain their community parks and public spaces in Jersey City; thereby revitalizing neighborhoods and lifting communal and human spirits while respecting the neighborhood’s cultural diversity.
I am excited to share with you the first of our six events. I would be very grateful if you would be willing to share it on your calendar of events. Sponsors for this event include ShopRite/Inserra Supermarkets, Liberty Realty | THE SKOLAR GROUP, Jim Kroll of Citizen’s Bank, Kobrick Coffee, and Chef’s Warehouse. Hospitality is courtesy of Alex Sartoga and Haven House. Logo and graphic design by Catalina Aranguren of Argia photography.
