Opa! A Tribute to Greek Cuisine Without Smashing Plates, in Alpine

May 22, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

OPA!

A tasting event designed to celebrate the food and flavors of Greece presented by New Jersey’s top-rated restaurants. From small plates to imported wine, spirits and hand crafted glikia (sweets!), it’s the perfect evening to taste delicious dishes while mingling with friends, family, wine purveyors and restauranteurs. OPA! will also feature a Silent Auction with amazing dining and travel packages and fantastic one-of-a-kind experiences. Plus, live music and more! Proceeds from ticket sales and silent auction fuel Table to Table trucks and deliver fresh, nourishing food to those who need it most right here in our neighborhood!

Why?

40% of the food available for human consumption in the United States is thrown out each year (that’s every other bite!). Every day, Table to Table redistributes fresh, wholesome food that would otherwise be wasted. Since we began over 20 years ago, we have rescued and redistributed fresh food to provide over 163 million meals to those who need it most right here in our community. With your help, in 2019 alone, we will redistribute enough food (free of charge) to provide 23 million meals to hungry families in northern New Jersey.
