Experience maple sugaring season at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham Township on weekends throughout February. Witness the entire process, from identifying and tapping maple trees, collecting sap, and watching as syrup is made over a wood-fired evaporator. You will also be able to taste test the Great Swamp’s own homemade syrup! Demonstrations are held at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $3 per person.
