Stories from New Jersey Diners – Monuments to Community
New Jersey author and Jersey Bites contributor Michael C. Gabriele’s new book, will be unveiled at an upcoming reception at the Nutley Museum on September 27, 2019. The event, sponsored by the Nutley Historical Society, is free and open to the public. Gabriele’s fourth book on New Jersey food history documents stories gathered throughout the Diner Capital of the World. Guests can chat with Gabriele, a lifelong Garden State resident and 1975 graduate of Montclair State University who has worked as a journalist, freelance writer, and author for over 40 years. The new book will be available for sale online, at local bookstores, and during Gabriele’s presentations at libraries, civic organizations, and township historical societies.
