Hunger Action Family Day in Neptune

Did you know that 1 in 10 residents of Monmouth & Ocean Counties is food insecure? September is Hunger Action Month and Fulfill (formerly the FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties) is hosting a special event to help bring the community together in the face of hunger. Hunger Action Family Day is September 5, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Fulfill’s headquarters in Neptune, NJ.
There will be opportunities for volunteers to help put together healthy snack packs for kids in after-school programs.
Other activities include: Garden planting, games, prizes, giveaways, tours, face painting, crafts, The Windmill Hot Dogs, ice cream, selfie station, Kids Cow Banks (while supplies last), special guests and much more!
Non-perishable food donations will also be accepted during this event. Please help “stuff the silo”.
