Beer BBQ Bacon Showdown in Morristown

The Beer BBQ Bacon Showdown is New Jersey’s only festival to feature only New Jersey Craft Beer, coupled with New Jersey restaurants, gourmet food trucks and chefs, offering a delectable array of mouth watering BBQ and bacon creations, all available for purchase. There will be a competition to showcase their culinary skills, with a panel of celebrity judges choosing the best of the best, along with People’s Choice awards for Best Dish and Best Beer.
30 New Jersey Breweries will be in attendance, each bringing four styles of beer. One of these styles will be either a rare beer or a brew created specifically for this event. A fantastic VIP hour sponsored by New Jersey Craft Beer. Not only do you get first crack at all the beer and food but you get an extra hour at the event, an incredible VIP buffet created by our celebrity chef. The event will take place outdoors and under tents, with some fantastic music by Street Hassle and the Brass Balls.
The Event is a Benefit for the Chester First Aid Squad. An all-volunteer, non-profit organization that provides basic life support services in the roughly 31 square miles of Chester Township and Chester Borough, as well as in surrounding communities when requested. They do this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Last year they answered over 860 emergency calls and they take great pride in providing compassionate and competent care to their patients.
VIP:12 to 1 p.m. Enter 1 hour early, VIP gift, buffet during the VIP hour meet and greet with the brewers, pitmasters, and chefs, plus first access to the rare and specialty beer which each brewery is creating for this event. Also includes mason jar mug, unlimited samples of beer, great music and People’s Choice Ballot for best beer and best dish.

This event is destined to become a New Jersey classic. Must be over 21 and have picture ID to enter. Dogs, chairs & blankets are all welcome. No outside food or drink, large bags or knapsacks. (Pretzel necklaces always allowed!)
