38th Annual Festival of the Sea, Point Pleasant

September 17: The Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce hosts the 38th Annual Festival of the Sea, highlighting the bounty of the sea and more in dishes prepared by local restaurants. For those more interested in the sweeter side of things, there will be plenty of dessert offerings as well. Live musical entertainment will take place all afternoon, along with arts and crafts, pony rides, kiddie games, and more. The festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Arnold and Bay Avenues, Point Pleasant Beach. (Rain date scheduled for September 18.)
