2nd Annual Best Empanada Challenge

Ten restaurants in the Chelsea Neighborhood of Atlantic City will compete for the title of Best Empanada 2021. The Challenge is sponsored by the Chelsea Economic Development Corporation and ACDevco.
Every day during September 2021 is an opportunity for food lovers to visit the restaurants participating in the Challenge, during regular business hours, and buy an empanada of their choosing from the menu, and then vote for their favorite selection at www.ChelseaEDC.org.
The winner will be announced in early October, 2021.
Chelsea’s many Latin and South American restaurants are truly multi-cultural, reflecting the flavors and customs of El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru, Honduras, and Colombia.
The Challenge is a way to introduce these restaurants and their unique offerings to those outside the neighborhood looking for authentic Latin food as well as a rich, vibrant, multicultural local experience.
