I adore dumplings. If I see them on a menu, it’s almost a guarantee I’ll be ordering them. So, when Chef One reached out to me to let me know that their dumplings are now available in grocery stores all over New Jersey, I needed to try them. Chef One has been making dumplings for some of New York’s finest restaurants since 1999. They produce 44,000 dumplings per HOUR in their Brooklyn-based facility, using only fresh ingredients with no artificial flavors.

Their frozen dumplings can be prepared one of several ways: boiled, fried, steamed or in the microwave. Full directions are included on the packaging. I actually like to cook them in the microwave and then give them a quick pan fry to brown them on one side. After sampling the Kung Pao chicken and Thai-style chicken dumplings, I developed the following sauces to compliment them. This set makes for a great party spread, and these dips would also go great with Chef One’s vegetable dumplings.
