Through June 30: Treat the graduate in your life to a special meal at Phillips Seafood in Atlantic City as the restaurant hosts Crabs for Grads, a promotion offering a complimentary entrée to high school and college graduates with a group reservation and proof of graduation. June 18 and 19: AC Food Truck Festival Logo TransparentTake part in the first-ever Atlantic City Food Truck Festival, featuring live cooking demonstrations from Chef Brian Duffy and a slew of great food trucks, including Wahlburgers, Empanada Guy, The Whirly Pig, and many more. Cast a vote for your favorite food truck and help decide who will earn the title of Atlantic City Food Truck Festival Grand Champion! Attendees can also enjoy live music, activities for children, and a premium outdoor wine, beer, and spirits garden. Proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey. The festival takes place from 12 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Brighton Park, Atlantic City.

June 18 and 19: Celebrate the grand opening of Jughandle Brewing Company in Tinton Falls, with beer tastings and a tour of the craft brewery. Flights may be purchased and tasted on site for $6. Additional samples and regular pints of beer are also available. The opening list features an IPA, RyePA, Saison, Hefeweizen, Imperial Stout, and an English Bitter with more styles coming soon. The grand opening takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 8 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Jughandle Brewing, 4057 Asbury Avenue, Tinton Falls.

June 18 and August 6: The Just Jersey Food Truck & Music Festival rolls in, bringing over 20 gourmet food trucks, a craft beer and wine bar, live music, and more. On June 18, stick around for fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. Eleventh Hour Rescue will have dogs on site and will be accepting applications and donations. Admission is $5 and kids under 10 are free. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on June 18 and takes place at Waterloo Village Concert Field. June 21 to 26: It’s time again for Wildwoods Restaurant Week! Participating restaurants offer full, four-course meals, including an appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert for $30 (plus tax and gratuity). June 23: Sample signature dishes from some of the state’s finest celebrity chefs while supporting a great cause at Chefs at the Shore. The event, presented by the Atlantic City Aquarium and the South Jersey Chapter of the Professional Chef’s Association, helps fund educational programming at the aquarium and educational programs and scholarships for culinary students through the Professional Chef’s Association. The event runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and tickets are $50 in advance, $65 day of. Historic Gardner’s Basin, 800 North New Hampshire Avenue, Atlantic City.

June 23: Learn how to make fresh mozzarella and ricotta at Mozzarella and Ricotta 101, hosted by Olive That! and More. Jeanine Dargis, professional cheese maker and owner of The Cheese Teacher, is leading the two-hour class from 7 to 9 p.m., guiding students through the process of turning milk, to curd, to a finished cheese. Students will also learn how to taste and critique cheese like an expert with a cheese tasting session. Bring your favorite bottle of wine to class to pair with your homemade cheese! $50 to enroll. June 24: Bring your pup to this year’s Take Your Dog to Work Day at Yappy Hour, hosted by Amanti Vino in Montclair. Stop by from 5 to 7 p.m. to enjoy treats (for both you and your dog) while taking part in a doggie meet ‘n’ greet. Four-legged guests at Yappy Hour are featured on social media using the hashtag #DogsofAmantiVino. This event is free to attend. Dogs should be well behaved and leashed. June 24 to 26: 13047679_550682005101963_6458824558605783945_oThe Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival is back for its second year! The impressive lineup of food trucks includes el Lechon de Negron as well as Sum PigFive Sisters, and Shore Shake (pictured, right). Stop by from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday for some tasty food and fun! 63rd and Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City.

June 25: This is about to be your favorite visit to the zoo since grade school. The Turtle Back Zoo hosts its fourth annual Brew at the Zoo, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will feature live entertainment, and a wide range of brewers and craft beer vendors. Tickets are $60 for general admission and $15.50 for designated drivers. June 25: Live jazz music and fresh, local seafood come together to make the perfect pairing at the 8th Annual Jazzy Scallop & Seafood Festival. Tickets for the event are $25 in advance, $30 on the day of the event, and can be purchased at the Ship Bottom Chamber of CommerceHow You Brewin?Off the Hook, and Wink. The festival takes place from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Viking Village, 1801 Bayview Avenue, Barnegat Light.

June 25 and 26: Sip Into Summer Wine FestivalThe Sip Into Summer Washington Lake Park Wine Festival offers summer fun for everyone: great New Jersey wineries selling and pouring samples of their wines, delectable foods served up by fabulous food trucks, entertaining live music, unique artisanal crafts, and more.
The festival takes place from 12 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased here, or for $20 on the day of the event. Non-sampler tickets for guests 21 and over are $5 and can only purchased at the event. Guests under 21 are free. Washington Lake Park, 447 Greentree Road, Sewell.

June 25 and 26: Take a swig at Somerville’s Craft Beer Fest 2016. This two-day event, hosted by Tapastre Restaurant and Bar, features offerings from breweries like Dogfish Head BreweryKane Brewing CompanyNew Jersey Beer Company, and many more, along with live music all day and food provided by local restaurants. The event takes place from 12 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, 12 to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 in advance and can be purchased here, or for $15 at the door. June 25 and 26: Get your sweet tooth ready for the Wine and Chocolate Festival at Monmouth Park! Take your time enjoying samples from a dozen wineries and the chocolate lounge (really!) while listening live music. $10 for wine sampling, $7 for chocolate sampling, or $15 for both. The festival runs 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oceanport Avenue, Oceanport.

June 25 and 26: Beer and food is just the beginning at Crystal Spring Resort’s New Jersey Beer and Food Festival. Not only can you sample delicious, locally sourced food along with a variety of craft beers, ciders, and drafts while you’re here, there’s also world-class golfing, yoga classes, hot air balloon rides, live music, and more. The event runs from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday and guests in attendance must be 21 or over. The all-ages Family Day takes place on Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $75 for Saturday, and $55 for Sunday and can be purchased here. Crystal Springs Resort, 1 Wild Turkey Way, Hamburg.

BBLF ImageJune 25 and 26: Lobster lovers, rejoice: it’s nothing less than lobsters galore at Bradley Beach Lobsterfest this year. Celebrate the crimson crustacean with broiled lobster, lobster macaroni and cheese, and, of course, the classic lobster roll, all accompanied by live music, a beer and wine garden, and many fun activities for children. Admission is free. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. 500 Ocean Avenue, Bradley Beach.

Thursdays, July 7 through August 25: Celebrate the 200th birthday of historical Congress Hall, America’s oldest seaside resort, at the weekly Bicentennial Birthday Dinner. Guests are treated to a family style feast featuring modern takes on classic dishes while taking a step back in time to learn about the history of Congress Hall. The festivities take place every Thursday at 6 p.m. from July 7 to August 25 in the resort’s Ballroom. 200 Congress Place, Cape May.

SONY DSCJuly 8 to 10: The competition heats up again at the New Jersey State BBQ Championship! This three-day, open-air festival hosts the championship barbeque competition with live cooking demonstrations, food and beverage vendors, and the adjoining Anglesea Blues Festival. Proceeds benefit the Anglesea Volunteer Fire Company. A full schedule of events can be found here. The festival runs from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues, North Wildwood.

July 9: BBQ, bourbon, and a biergarten, oh my! Find all three at the Montclair Food and Wine Festival’s upcoming outdoor BBQ, Bourbon & Biergarten tasting event, held at the Montclair Art Museum from 6 to 10 p.m., rain or shine. Enjoy sweet and savory offerings from the area’s top chefs, a variety of bourbons and craft beers, live music provided by The Wellmont Theater, and a spirited BBQ competition. Tickets are $85 (and an additional $35 for the premium bourbon and beer tasting experience), and can be purchased here. Montclair Art Museum, 3 South Mountain Avenue, Montclair.

seafood_contest-web_800x500July 9: Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment’s Seafood Fest is off to the races again at 5 p.m. in The Backyard, for the third consecutive year. The event features a raw bar stocked with clams and oysters, along with many food trucks serving up the bounties of the sea. Enter the Shrimp Peel-N-Eat Contest for a chance to win the $500 grand prize. Meadowlands Racetrack, 1 Racetrack Drive, East Rutherford.

July 16 and 17: New this year is the Monmouth Park Surf & Turf Seafood Festival! Come and enjoy ocean-fresh seafood while sipping on a refreshing beer or wine, listening to live music, enjoying fun games and activities, watching horse races, or just relaxing with friends and family in the picnic area. Family Fun Day takes place Sunday with pony rides, face painting, a bouncy house, and more. The festival runs from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5 and children 12 and under are free. General parking is $5. July 23 and 24: festivalGet a taste of award-winning food served truck-side, all in a vineyard setting, at Alba Vineyard’s Food Truck Festival. Lawn chairs, blankets, and beach chairs are welcome. $10 for guests 21 and over, $5 for ages 13 to 20, and free for children 12 and under. Wine tastings are available for $10 per person. The festival takes place from 12 to 5 p.m. Alba Vineyard & Winery, 269 Route 627, Village of Finesville, Milford.

August 14: Celebrate the bounty of the Garden State at this year’s Vineland’s Jersey Fresh Festival, where you can sample delicious foods prepared by a variety of vendors all while enjoying live entertainment. With plenty of activities for children, there’s something for everybody at this event, which runs from 12 to 6 p.m. at Vineland High School. Proceeds from the event help to fund scholarships for students majoring in agriculture-related fields. Vineland High School, East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
