This weekend:

November 14: Gnarly Brews Tap Room & Bottle Shop hosts their first beer fest, Barreled Brew Fest. The festival features Gnarley Brew’s exclusive brews, but Smokin’ Chick Got Wood BBQ and live entertainment by Frank Black! Tickets must be purchased in advance here. 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Gnarley Brews Tap Room & Bottle Shop. 224 Stockton St, Phillipsburg.

November 14: Grass Roots Jeep Club hosts its 3rd annual Jeeps in the Vineyard at the Valenzano Winery. The festival has grown to include more than 150 Jeeps and 23 sponsors. 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Valenzano Winery. 1090 Rt. 206, Shamong.

November 14 and 15:What could be better this time of year, then a pie tasting? Alstede Farms is hosting a Pie Tasting Weekend where visitors can try all the different flavors of its tasty home-baked pies. Alstede Farms, 1 Alstede Farms Lane, Chester.  

November 16: Forks & Corks is back for a third year at the Mill in Spring Lake Heights. The event’s food, wine, and beer tasting provides a glimpse of the delectables available along the Jersey Shore. 6 to 9 p.m. The Mill, 101 Old Mill Road, Spring Lake Heights.

November 16: The 7th Annual A Taste of Bergen, is a community cocktail party featuring entrees and desserts from some of the area’s best cuisines and restaurants, as it benefits the Foundation at Bergen Regional. This fundraiser includes cuisine from several local restaurants, with tickets costing $75 per person. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 644 Pascack Road, Washington Township.

And beyond:

November 21: Allow yourself to de-stress while donating to a great cause! Coba Yoga donates a yoga class on November 21 to support the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Taught by Jersey Bites writer Melissa Beveridge, the Grateful Donation Yoga Class is free when attendees make a $10 donation to local food banks. Nonperishable food items are also welcome! 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Coba Yoga, 115 Oceanport Avenue, Oceanport.

November 21: Head to Cedar Grove for the local Fire Department’s Chili Cook-Off from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. All of the proceeds from the cook-off will benefit Cedar Grove resident and NJ State Trooper Bill “No Fear” Fearon. Special guests include Chopped judge and Iron Chef contestant Amanda Freitag, and WPLJ’s Todd and Jayde. Tickets are $35 and include beer and wine. Event will take place at the Macedonian Church, 1050 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove.

November 27, 28, 29: Throughout Holiday Wine Trail Weekend participating New Jersey wineries will be providing holiday tastings along with complimentary grape vine wreath and holiday ornaments. For a full list of participating wineries check out the Garden State Wine Growers Association’s website. 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

December 4: Participating businesses open their their doors in Downtown Bordentown for a Holiday Chocolate Walk full of fun treats and chocolates galore. Various restaurants, bars and other food shops are opening their doors to passport holders for a chance to showcase their chocolatey treats whether it be just a piece of delicious chocolate, a baked dessert, or chocolate-tini! Passports can be printed here. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Downtown Bordentown.

December 6: The Hoppy Holiday Beer Bazaar comes in for a landing at the Flying Fish Brewery in Somerdale. Kick off the holiday season with some of the best hops in New Jersey from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Flying Fish Brewery, 900 Kennedy Blvd, Somerdale.

December 13 and February 7: The Indoor Winter Farmers’ Market benefits Slow Food Northern NJ.  The festival features sustainably raised foods from local farms and food artisans. Admission of $3 will be donated to Slow Food NNJ’s community and school garden fund.
