December 17: Westfield Memorial Library presents “Eating Healthy During the Holidays,” hosted by writer Maryanne Christiano-Mistretta. The program will discuss the best nutritional holidays recipes and helpful hints on healthy eating. It is open to any Westfield Memorial Cardholders or members of MURAL, the Middlesex County library exchange program. Westfield Memorial Library, 550 Broad St., Westfield, 908-789-4090.

December 18: At “Have a GMO-free holiday,” Collingswood Library teaches the public on the best way to have a GMO-free holiday with a discussion on the best methods to buy and use non-GMO foods. The event, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m., also includes a GMO-free cookie swap. It is free and open to the public. Collingswood Public Library, 771 Haddon Avenue, 856-858-0649.

December 20: Munch your way through the Asbury Park Winter Bazaar, featuring craft vendors, artisanal food products, and a seasonal food and drink menu from the Anchors Bend. Live music and photos with Santa are great for the kids, while parents can give back at the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties‘ donation drop-off. Admission is free. January 26 to February 2: Bring together the excitement of the Superbowl and the entertainment of great food deals at Montclair’s Restaurant Week. Already 14 different restaurants have signed up to offer specials throughout the week and have donated to the local Rotary Club.
