November 14: A Taste of Hunterdon: A Foodie Fundraiser. Visit the Grand Colonial Restaurant in Hampton to celebrate the work of Family Promise of Hunterdon County and raise money for the only homeless shelter for families in Hunterdon County. November 16: Alstede Farms Pie Tasting Weekend will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 84 County Route 514 in Chester. Come and try something totally new or stick with your old favorite pie flavors!

November 16 – 17: Thanksgiving Pie Tasting Party. For just $2 per person, join Farmer Johnson for a pie tasting party! All proceeds go to UrbanPromise’s Thanksgiving Dinner Fund to help provide 600 dinners to those in need! November 17: Cakebread Wine DinnerCome enjoy a four-course dinner paired with the handcrafted wines of Cakebread Cellars. Chardonnay, zinfandel and cabernet will be paired with some of Chef Kevin’s wonderful creations. Cakebread wines will be sold at a discount as well.  A Tasteful Experience, Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation, Child Life Program, FundraiserNovember 18: Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation’s signature fall event, A Tasteful Experience, will be held at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange. Funds raised at this year’s event will benefit the Medical Center’s Child Life Program, which helps children and their families cope with illness and hospitalization. Forks & Corks, Jersey Bites, Algonquin Arts TheatreNovember 18: Jersey Bites Presents Forks & Corks to benefit the Algonquin Arts Theatre at the Mill, Spring Lake Heights, from 6 to 9 p.m.. This event will showcase deliciously diverse cuisine from the area’s most popular restaurants, along with a cast of renowned wines and beers.  $65 per person. November 19: Hamilton Park’s Gourmet Fall Food and Wine Tour invites visitors to walk their way through three restaurants and a wine shop! Television network SPIKE will hold a casting call for Frankenfood, an upcoming series, at Chef Central, on Route 17 in Paramus, on Friday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you’re interested in being cast on the show, bring at least one serving of your best extreme, innovative dish and a photo of yourself. Viva South Jersey, No Kid Hungry in South Jersey, gala, No Senior Hungry in South JerseyNovember 22: Viva South Jersey. This gala, an evening of chance, music and food, will raise money for the Food Bank of South Jersey’s No Kid Hungry in South Jersey program, which provides food and nutrition services to needy children in elementary and middle school. It will also benefit their No Senior Hungry in South Jersey program, so that seniors no longer have to make the difficult choice between paying for medicine and paying food.
